Khanh Doan joined ACT’s Core Company in 2017. You may have seen her over the last few years as Mina in Dracula, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Lauren Yee in King of the Yees, Sita in Ramayana, Belle in A Christmas Carol, and in several ACTLab programs, including ACTONE Festival, Icicle Creek Theatre Festival, Hedgebrook Women Playwrights Festival and ACT New Play Awards. She’s also performed in numerous productions at Seattle Children’s Theatre, most recently as the title character in The Little Prince. Other local credits include A Doll’s House, Part 2 (Seattle Rep), A Tale for the Time Being (Book-It), Jesus Christ Superstar (Village Theatre), Miss Saigon and Baseball Saved Us (5th Avenue Theatre), Julius Caesar and Macbeth (Wooden O), The Tempest (Island Stage Left), Cowboy Versus Samurai (SiS Productions), and Eulogy for Citizen (Theater Schmeater). Portland credits include You For Me For You (Portland Playhouse), Redwood Curtain (Profile Theatre), and the world premiere of The Talented Ones (Artists Repertory Theatre), written by fellow ACT Core Company member, Yussef El Guindi. Khanh was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the U.S. as a young child. She grew up in California and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2003. She holds a B.A. from Stanford University.
