presented by Dina Martina and ACTLab

The Dina Martina Christmas Show

Dates: December 5–24, 2019
Run time: approximately 100 minutes, with one 20 minute intermission
Location: Falls Theatre

The halls are decked, the stockings hung, and Dina Martina is coming to town! Miss Martina (a.k.a. “The Second Lady of Entertainment”) is sure to put the happy in your holidays with her signature humor, questionable song, unnecessary dance, overburdened costumes, side-splitting video, and (of course) an endless supply of gifts!

Dina Martina returns to the ACTLab stage with noted accompanist and Stranger Genius Award-winner, Chris Jeffries, serving Seattle’s favorite brand of yuletide merriment since its beginnings at Re-bar over twenty years ago. Walk, don’t run, to buy tickets!

Dina Martina materialized at Seattle’s Center on Contemporary Art in January 1989, and has since gone on to perform at Provincetown’s Town Hall; Chicago’s Avondale Music Hall; New York’s Joe’s Pub, Sony Hall, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art; San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall; and five runs at Soho Theatre in London’s West End. Miss Martina has shared the bill with artists such as Margaret Cho, Alan Cumming, Justin Vivian Bond, and Bridget Everett. She received The Stranger Genius Award for Theater, two Seattle Times Footlight Awards, a nomination for The Alpert Award for Theater, and two nominations for GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Off-Off Broadway Show.

This production is recommended for ages 7 and up.
