Observerships

Be in the room where it happens!

Being in the room where creative theatre professionals are working at the height of their craft is a transformational experience. The ACT Observership program gives you the opportunity to follow a production through four touchpoints: designer presentations and the first table read, a blocking (staging) rehearsal, a technical rehearsal, and a public performance.

Open to ages 14 – 30. Discussion and reflection will be facilitated by Artistic Associate, Education Shana Bestock.

Observership Applications for Season 23-24 will open soon. Thank you for your interest! Please join our mailing list and select the “Education and Engagement” preference to stay in the know on upcoming ACT opportunities.

Assistant Stage Management

ACT invites students currently enrolled in a college-level program to apply for a for-credit, work-based learning experience as part of the stage management team for ACT’s 2023 season productions. For more information and application please contact Shana Bestock.
