Amy Thone (Scrooge/Marley)

Amy Thone has been in the Seattle theatre community for for 30 years and is a Core Company member here at ACT.  She has worked with the Seattle Shakespeare Company since 1995 playing many roles including Shylock, Cleopatra, Beatrice, Prospero, Lady Macbeth, Cassius, Adriana, Helena, and Titania. She’s also performed at the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman, Book-It, Seattle Public, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and Strawberry Theatre Workshop.  Amy is deeply proud to have been a founding member of New Century Theatre Company, for whom she played roles in The Adding Machine, Holy Days, Stephanie Timm’s On the Nature of Dust, The Big Meal, My Name is Asher Lev and The Trial. She is a faculty member at the University of Washington where she teaches Shakespeare, and received her MFA from the National Theatre Conservatory. Ms. Thone dedicates this performance, and most everything else in her life, to her daughters Stella and Charlotte.
