ACT is located in the Eagles Building, now known as Kreielsheimer Place, at 7th and Union in downtown Seattle. The Eagles Building opened in 1925 as the national headquarters, or Aerie #1, of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Designed by local architect and engineer Henry Bittman, the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. One year later it was designated as a Seattle Landmark to recognize the building’s important role in local heritage.

Decades of neglect took its toll on some of the cosmetic features of the building, but in 1983 it was judged to be structurally sound and experts determined it could be restored to its former grandeur and use as a public facility.

Thanks to the talents of Callison Architecture and Shelley Schermer, ACT is very proud of its home in downtown Seattle. We think you’ll agree that it’s a beautiful spot for any event.
